SARALYN IS THE WINNER OF THE 2024 Gympie Muster Mothertone Talent Search Open Category. Out of 250 artists nationwide, Saralyn took home the title, winning a trip to Nashville, a chance to perform overseas, and a coveted spot on the Deni Ute Muster Day stage lineup, which included other acts such as Bryce Sianty, Pete Denahy, Wade Forster and more.
Saralyn, a singer-songwriter from the Hunter Valley in NSW, Australia, infused with the soulful influences of legends like Stevie Nicks, Lainey Wilson, and Dolly Parton, Saralyn's musical journey began amidst the harmonies of her musical family. From forming bands with her siblings to serenading passers-by during busking sessions with her father, Saralyn sang all through school, church and participated in talent quests and other competitions, she’s also served as a judge. With over 20 years of experience singing on stage, she has performed for venues and functions in bands, duos, and now as a solo artist. Saralyn grew up performing from the tender age of 5 and has loved it ever since, music has always been at the core of her being.
Saralyn, a storyteller on a mission here to create music that's as authentic and relatable as it is moving. Her debut single, “Little River Girl,” recorded and produced at Kasey Chambers & Brandon Dodds’ renowned Rabbit Hole Recording Studio.
Saralyn's recent accolades include Winning the Gympie Music Muster 2024, Performing at the Deni Ute Muster and Not to mention, her single "White Butterfly" soared to number 2 on the Amrap charts even before its official release. With all five of her singles earning airtime and high rotation on ABC Country and Grassroots Country programs, and her debut music video for "White Butterfly" lighting up screens on CMT Australia.
From performing at the prestigious Tamworth Country Music Festival in 2023 to gracing the stage at the Kasey Chambers Showcase Evening at The Press, Saralyn is dedicated to live performance, always seeking opportunities to support other acts and showcase her own talent. Her recent debut ticketed show was a sell-out, captivating audiences with her stunning vocals and heartfelt songs.
As a songwriter, Saralyn’s talent has earned her national recognition. She reached the semi-finals of the prestigious Songwriting Prize in both 2023 and 2024, and in 2021, she was in the top 10 of the ASA Songwriting Competition.
With plans for an EP in the work, Saralyn is eagerly looking ahead. There’s no slowing down in 2025, The sky's the limit for this country heart - Keep your eyes peeled and your ears tuned, because Saralyn's journey is well and truly on its way.
