THE STORY
Paperboy has quickly established itself as one of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley’s forefront weddings, functions and corporate events live music outfits. Paperboy’s professional yet charismatic and down-to-earth persona has been a key contributor to a vastly expanding notable C.V., entertaining the Northern NSW Football Association, Master Builders Association, Rokt Digital Marketing and countless weddings and private functions garnering a wealth of experience. Paperboy are able to be at your event from start to finish, with adding Jared on as solo being able to cater your ceremony and canapes to then having the full band to get the party started.
THE SOUND
Paperboy’s sound is contemporary with added timeless classics, focusing on engaging the audience and keeping them singing and dancing throughout. Paperboy listens to the audience to make on the go adjustments and ‘play to the room’, as well as keeping the setlists fresh and updated.
THE SETUP
What sets Paperboy apart from traditional bands is their bookings range from extremely small events right up to 400+ concerts. Understanding floorspace can be at a premium in some venues, Paperboy’s unique stage setup utilises modern technology in sound reinforcement to vastly reduce the overall footprint. Paperboy are a full 4 piece band with the capabilites to fit in the space of a duo if required. The added benefit of this unique setup gives greater control over volume level, meaning Paperboy can be as quiet as a soloist or as loud as an outdoor concert, tailored specifically for each event. So if you are after the energy and dynamic range only a full band can cater for but don’t have the room, Paperboy very well may be your solution.
